Data Loss, Identity Theft and Credit Card Fraud Links
By kenya on Jan 2, 2009 in Internet, Tech
Most of my Twitter conversation yesterday focused around data loss, identity theft and credit cards. The point of the discussion was that while consumers must be vigilant to protect their personal and financial data, most of it is out of their hands. The bigger problem is protecting the organizations that collect, transport, and store this data.
Because it’s difficult to fully convey this kind of information in 140 characters, I decided to put together a “bibliography”. These links are divided into general information, data collecting third-parties, merchants, banks and government.
