Almost No Parking

So today I miss the 9:00 bus. The bus comes within such a wide array of times that it is hard to know when the bus is going to come. That’s beside the point though. I drive to temporary overflow lot at Vienna Metro and it is packed. I park in almost the last spot in the row. I think I walked about a mile to the Metro station. With the lot this full, I still don’t see how they think they can get rid of this lot to build condos without causing massive commuter problems. As it is they need more parking at Vienna metro. There doesn’t seem to be any room for more parking. The best solution would probably be a remote lot that allows you to park all day for the same price but also includes a shuttle bus that drops you off at the station. Some industrious person should do that. (A good portion of one of the metro garages is closed for repairs so finishing that and reopening it would help ease the parking situation too.)
